Members and Roles
Control who can read, edit, publish, and administer an Organization.
Roles
| Role | Current permission level |
|---|---|
| Viewer | Reads Organization and product data. |
| Editor | Changes Assistant content and configuration. |
| Admin | Publishes Assistants and manages members and API keys. |
| Owner | Changes Roles and manages owners. |
The application applies more specific capability checks to individual operations.
Invite a member
- Open Settings > Members.
- Select Invite member.
- Enter the email address.
- Select the minimum required Role.
- Send the invitation.
Change a member
An Admin can manage members below the Owner tier. An Owner can manage all tiers.
A member cannot edit or remove their own row from the member list. Use another authorized member for that operation.
API-key Roles
An Admin or Owner can create an Organization API key. The selected Role cannot be higher than the creator's Role.
Revoke a key when its client no longer needs access. Ciele keeps the revoked record for audit information.
