Alerts
Catch operational problems early, such as a connection whose credentials stopped working.
Alerts keep your assistants healthy by surfacing problems that need attention. When something goes wrong behind the scenes, for example a connection whose credentials stopped working, Ciele raises an alert so you can act before it affects visitors. Open Alerts from the sidebar. A badge shows how many alerts are currently active.
Read the alerts
Alerts are organized so you can focus on what needs action.
- Needs attention lists active issues.
- Resolved lists issues that are no longer active.
- All shows both.
Each alert describes the type of issue, gives a short title and detail, and shows when it was detected and its current status.
Resolve an alert
There are two ways an alert clears.
- Fix the underlying problem, for example refresh the connection that failed. When the issue clears on its own, the alert resolves automatically.
- If you have handled the issue outside Ciele, mark it as resolved from the alert.
You can also open an alert for more detail when you need to understand exactly what happened.
Check alerts before they bite
An unattended alert often means an integration is quietly failing. A quick glance at the Alerts badge as part of your routine keeps small problems from becoming visitor facing ones.
