Plans and billing
Review the managed plan state and the Stripe billing account.
Ciele is sold two ways. The open-source edition is free, and you run it yourself. The managed edition is Enterprise, and it is sales-led.
There is no self-serve plan ladder. To start or change a managed plan, talk to sales. Ciele attaches the agreed plan to your Organization.
Activation
A new managed Organization starts pending activation. The console is fully usable in that state. You can configure Assistants, add Knowledge, and invite members.
Assistants do not answer until Ciele activates the Organization. Activation follows the agreement or a staff evaluation grant.
Pending activation is not a data lock. Everything you configured stays in place.
Billing account
Open Settings > Billing in the managed edition. When Stripe returns the data, the page can show:
- the current plan state
- renewal information
- the current payment card summary
- invoices
Billing fields can remain absent when Stripe has not supplied them.
Ciele reconciles the billing state with Stripe. Do not assume that a completed browser redirect proves plan activation.
Top-up credits
Settings > Billing shows the credits your Organization holds, three pack sizes, and the history of the packs you bought.
A pack is a buffer behind your plan allowance. Ciele spends it only after a window's allowance is used up. Purchased credits do not expire.
A pack costs more for each credit than your plan does. The page shows both prices. Compare them before you buy a pack every month.
Buying a pack needs an active or trial plan. A self-hosted deployment has no plan and no packs.
Self-hosted edition
The self-hosted edition shows no plan state and no subscription account. It needs no Ciele subscription. See Open Source.
